The Leadership of Lawrence College
Since its founding in 1860, Lawrence College Ghora Gali has been led by 31 Principals — clergy and educationalists from Britain during the colonial era, and Pakistani officers and academics from the 1950s onwards. Four of the boarding houses bear the names of former Principals: Peake, Wightwick, Walker and Wright. The college hospital is named after Mr S T Thurley, Principal 1949–1952.

The Principal's Legacy
Each Principal of Lawrence College has contributed to the institution's development in their own way. The British clergy and educationalists established the physical campus, the boarding house system, the sporting traditions and the academic framework. Their Pakistani successors have maintained and enriched these traditions while adapting the college to the needs of modern Pakistan.
The Principal is not merely an administrator but the embodiment of the college's values — visible at assembly, on the sports field, at formal dinners, and in the day-to-day life of the school. The relationship between the Principal and the students is central to the Gallian experience.
