Our Heritage
Lawrence College was founded in 1860 by Sir Henry Montgomery Lawrence — Soldier, Statesman and Philanthropist — with the purpose of providing quality education to the sons of British and Indian soldiers serving in the subcontinent.
Today, Lawrence College stands as Pakistan's premier residential institution, perched at 6,395 feet in the picturesque Murree Hills. The college educates approximately 750 students across three schools: Junior, Preparatory and Senior — each guided by the motto "Never Give In."
The Four Houses
Every student joins one of four great houses — a brotherhood that lasts a lifetime.
Red & Black
Wightwick House competes with fierce determination across sport, academics and the arts — a brotherhood defined by courage and pride.
Green & White
Walker House carries a proud tradition of excellence on the sports field and in the classroom, united under green and white.

Lawrence College didn't just educate me — it taught me resilience. The motto "Never Give In" is not a phrase; it is a way of life that I carry into every challenge I face.
The friendships forged in the houses of Lawrence College are among the deepest of my life. Decades later, my fellow Gallians remain my most trusted companions.
The discipline, the sport, the mountain air — Lawrence shaped everything about how I approach leadership. I wouldn't trade those years for anything.
Waking up every morning to the Murree Hills with the smell of pine in the air — no university, no boardroom compares. Lawrence is a world of its own.
Lawrence College instilled in me a sense of duty — to my family, my profession and my country. The values I learned there have guided every decision of my career.
