The Gallian Brotherhood
The Old Gallian Association Pakistan (OGAP) is the alumni organisation of Lawrence College Ghora Gali. It unites the thousands of men who have passed through the college's gates since 1860 — Old Gallians from every generation, every profession and every corner of Pakistan and the world.
The bond between Old Gallians is one of the most remarkable features of the Lawrence College community. It transcends generations, professional boundaries, social divisions and geographic distance. When Old Gallians meet for the first time, there is an immediate and genuine connection — a shared experience that only those who have lived the Gallian life can fully understand.
Brotherhood
OGAP maintains the brotherhood of Lawrence College across decades and generations. Regular reunions, events and networks keep Old Gallians connected to each other and to their alma mater.
Support for the College
OGAP actively supports Lawrence College through fundraising for infrastructure projects, establishing scholarship funds for deserving students, and advocating for the college's interests with government and other stakeholders.
Mentorship
Old Gallians mentor current students through career guidance, internship opportunities, university advice and professional networking — providing a powerful advantage to Gallians entering their professional lives.
Global Network
OGAP's network spans Pakistan and the world. Old Gallians in the armed forces, government, business, academia and the diaspora form an extraordinary global network of mutual support and collective achievement.
OGAP Activities
OGAP organises a range of activities throughout the year:
- Annual Reunion — Old Gallians return to Ghora Gali for the most anticipated event of the OGAP calendar
- Regional Chapter Events — chapters in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and other cities organise local events
- Career Counseling — Old Gallians in professional roles mentor current students
- Scholarship Fund — financial support for deserving students who cannot afford college fees
- Infrastructure Projects — fundraising for specific college development projects
- Social Media — active Facebook and LinkedIn groups connecting Old Gallians globally
- Commemorative Events — marking Founders' Day and other significant occasions
Joining OGAP
Every student who has attended Lawrence College is automatically an Old Gallian and is welcome to join OGAP. There is no formal membership process — the Gallian bond is established by the shared experience of Lawrence College, not by any administrative act.
Old Gallians who wish to engage more actively with OGAP can connect through the college, the OGAP Facebook page, or through the regional chapter networks. All Old Gallians are encouraged to participate in the annual reunion and to contribute to the mentorship of current students in whatever professional capacity they can.
"Once a Gallian, always a Gallian."
— OGAP motto
