2026
Art Extravaganza 2026 — Hand in Hand, Painting a Peaceful World
Lawrence College hosted Art Extravaganza 2026 under the theme "Together for Peace — Hand in Hand." This inter-school platform, established in 2016, featured students from multiple schools competing across nine categories of performing and visual arts. Army Public School, Cliffden Camp, Murree received the Art Extravaganza Shield 2026. Principal Brig. Jawad Ahmed Zaka praised the students' creativity and the teachers' dedication in nurturing confident and expressive individuals.
Prep School Celebrates Honour Day
The Preparatory School held an Honour Day Programme at Hamid Hall featuring recitations, speeches on integrity, and a presentation highlighting the honour purchase system and open libraries. The Principal emphasised that integrity must go beyond awards, and must be reflected in thoughts and actions throughout life.
Australian High Commissioner Timothy Kane Visits Lawrence College
H.E. Timothy Kane, Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, toured the Lawrence College campus to explore its heritage and academic offerings. The visit included discussions on student admissions and potential collaboration with Australian institutions, along with tours of the Church, Junior School, Library and Science Block.
Sanober Institute Panel Discussion — Four Themes for Young People Today
Lawrence College hosted an interactive panel featuring distinguished experts from the Sanober Institute, including a former Foreign Secretary, former Naval Vice Chief, former Police Inspector General, former Ambassador and former Air Force Vice Chief. The panel addressed social media vulnerability, drug addiction awareness, the value of hard work and the importance of communication skills.
International Education Expo 2026 at Lawrence College
The college hosted representatives from over 25 international institutions across 15 destinations. Approximately 360 students from Murree schools and interested families attended to explore academic programmes and scholarship opportunities at foreign universities.
Welcome Party — Class VIII
The Senior School welcomed Class VIII students in a ceremony attended by the Principal, school heads, faculty and prefects. The Head Boy advised newcomers to focus on their studies and use their time wisely, while senior students shared their experiences of the supportive Gallian community.
Prep School Welcome Party 2026 — Embracing New Beginnings
New students and those promoted from the Junior School were welcomed to the Preparatory School in a graceful ceremony. The Principal appreciated the well-organised event, praised the students' confidence and encouraged them to work hard and uphold strong Gallian values.
Junior School Welcome Party — New Beginnings and Lasting Friendships
The Junior School held its Welcome Party in the dining hall, featuring Quranic recitation, welcome addresses, dancing, singing and class games. The Principal reminded students that Lawrence College is not just a place of learning, but a second home where friendships are nurtured and character is shaped.
Prep School Trip to Wildlife Park, Bansara Gali
Preparatory School students enjoyed an excursion to the Wildlife Park at Bansara Gali, exploring the scenic surroundings and learning about nature conservation in Pakistan's northern hill region.
Khatam ul Qur'an Ceremony at Senior School
A graceful Khatam ul Qur'an ceremony was held at the Senior School mosque to conclude the Ramadan Taravih prayers. The Principal highlighted the significance of the teachings of the Holy Qur'an and their practical application in daily life.
Historic MOU — Lawrence College and Lewis School of English
Principal Brigadier Jawad Ahmad Zaka and Lewis School of English Director Alistair Walker signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 12 February 2026, promoting teacher training, student exchange programmes, cultural activities and seasonal camps between the two institutions.
UK and Türkiye International Educational Tour
Lawrence College's inaugural international tour took 51 students from Classes 7–12 and four faculty members to the United Kingdom and Türkiye. Students attended the Winter Language Programme at Lewis School of English, while visiting Parliament, the Pakistani High Commission, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Teachers participated in professional development training alongside the students' programme.
Professional Development Conference — Behaviour for Learning
The Director of Studies and three faculty members attended a two-day Behaviour for Learning conference at Aitchison College, focusing on student behaviour, the needs of Generation Z and Alpha learners, and classroom management strategies within boarding school environments.
Old Gallians Continue Tradition of Supporting Junior Staff
Lawrence College alumni contributed Rs. 17,60,000 for the welfare of the college's junior support staff — continuing the Old Gallians' annual tradition of giving back to the institution and the people who keep it running day to day.

Outstanding O-Level Results — 2024 Session
Lawrence College students achieved outstanding results in the 2024 Cambridge O-Level examinations. Several students secured A* grades across all subjects, continuing the college's tradition of academic excellence that has defined its 166-year history.
Inter-School Cricket Championship — Lawrence College Victorious
The Lawrence College First XI claimed the inter-school cricket championship title, defeating Aitchison College in a closely contested final. The squad showed remarkable discipline and skill under the coaching of the Physical Training Department.
Book Festival 2025 — A Celebration of Reading
The annual Book Festival, held in January, brought together students from all three schools to celebrate reading and literature. Guest speakers, book stalls and creative writing competitions made this one of the highlights of the academic year.
Head Boy 2025 — Ajlan Abbas Mir Appointed
Ajlan Abbas Mir (Wright House) was appointed Head Boy of Lawrence College for the 2024–25 academic year, continuing the distinguished line of Gallian student leaders stretching back to Pakistan's independence in 1947. He is the 55th Head Boy in the college's recorded history.

Founders Day 2024 — 164th Anniversary
Lawrence College marked its 164th Founders Day with the annual Parade, Prize Distribution and Performing Arts Show. Old Gallians returned from across Pakistan and the world to celebrate the occasion. The ceremony honoured outstanding academic, sporting and co-curricular achievement.
UK Cricket Tour 2024 — Gallians Excel Abroad
A Lawrence College cricket touring party travelled to the United Kingdom, playing matches against school sides in England. The tour was both a sporting and cultural success, with Gallians representing Pakistan with distinction on the field and off it.
A-Level Results 2024 — Multiple A* Achievers
Lawrence College Senior School students achieved multiple A* grades in the 2024 Cambridge A-Level examinations. The results demonstrate the continued strength of the Senior School's academic programme across Sciences, Commerce and Humanities.
Performing Arts Show 2024 — Record Audience
The annual Performing Arts Show drew a record audience to the Lawrence College auditorium, with students presenting drama, music, poetry and dance across all three schools. The show highlighted the depth of creative talent nurtured at Lawrence College.
Turkey Educational Tour — Students Explore Cultural Heritage
A group of Senior School students travelled to Turkey on an educational and cultural tour, visiting historic sites in Istanbul, Ankara and Bursa. The tour gave Gallians a direct appreciation of Islamic civilisation, architecture and history beyond the classroom.
