Infrastructure for Excellence

Lawrence College's 100-acre campus includes extensive sporting facilities that make it one of the best-equipped residential schools in Pakistan. The mountain setting at 6,395 feet adds a unique dimension — the clear air, cool temperatures and natural terrain provide conditions that are genuinely conducive to athletic development.

The college has invested steadily in its sports infrastructure over the years, maintaining and improving facilities to meet the demands of a modern sporting programme while preserving the distinctive character of the Ghora Gali campus.

The Mountain Advantage

Lawrence College's altitude of 6,395 feet is not just a scenic backdrop — it is a genuine athletic advantage. Training at altitude increases red blood cell production and cardiovascular capacity. Gallians who develop their athleticism at Ghora Gali often find their fitness translates into exceptional performance when competing at lower altitudes.

The surrounding Murree Hills also provide a natural cross-country running course of exceptional challenge and beauty. The annual cross-country event is one of the most demanding physical tests in the Lawrence College sporting calendar — testing not just fitness but the character and resilience that the college seeks to develop in every Gallian.
