The pinnacle of the Gallian experience — where leaders are forged and a lifetime's character is set.

The Culmination of the Gallian Experience

The Senior School is the final and most formative stage of the Lawrence College journey. Senior Gallians are the acknowledged leaders of the student body — occupying roles as prefects, house captains, sports captains and society presidents. They are held to the highest standards of conduct, scholarship and service, and they graduate as young men ready to take on the world.

The passage through Senior School and the Passing-Out Parade that marks its conclusion is one of the most significant moments in a Gallian's life. For many, it is the beginning of a deep and lifelong pride in having been an Old Gallian of Lawrence College.

Academic Excellence

The Senior School prepares students for the national Matriculation (SSC Part I and II) and Intermediate (HSSC) examinations. The academic programme is intensive, demanding and comprehensive, covering the full range of science, arts and general subjects at the highest level.

Senior School students benefit from experienced faculty, well-resourced laboratories and libraries, and the dedicated academic guidance that has produced Lawrence College's long record of distinguished results. Many Gallians have gone on to top universities in Pakistan and abroad, and to prestigious professional careers in every field.

The Prefect System & Leadership

The prefect system is central to Senior School life. Senior students are selected as School Prefects and House Prefects based on academic standing, character and the respect of their peers and teachers. Prefects carry real responsibility — for the discipline, welfare and tone of the junior students under their care.

The Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy are the most senior student leaders, occupying a position of great prestige and responsibility. Their close relationship with the Principal, Vice-Principals and housemasters gives them genuine influence in school life. This leadership experience is widely recognised as one of the most valuable aspects of the Lawrence College education.

Career Counseling Cell

A dedicated Career Counseling Cell assists Senior School students in planning their futures — university selection, scholarship applications, entrance examination preparation and career guidance. The Cell connects students with Old Gallians in various professions who provide mentorship and professional insight.

Senior Gallians benefit from guidance on applications to Pakistan's leading universities as well as international institutions. Old Gallians in academia, the military, industry and the professions make themselves available to support the next generation of Gallians in planning their careers.

Passing-Out Parade

The Passing-Out Parade is the formal ceremony marking the completion of Senior School and the departure of the final-year class from Lawrence College. It is a day of great ceremony and emotion — a formal parade, speeches, the College Song, and the symbolic moment when each Gallian passes through the college gates for the last time as a student.

From that day forward, they are Old Gallians — members of a community that spans 165 years and includes some of Pakistan's most distinguished citizens. The Passing-Out Parade is not an ending but a beginning.
